What this tracks
A statistical count of on-street parking spaces in Lisbon — how many spaces each parish (freguesia) has, split by tipologia (type of space: ZEDL limited-duration, ZAAC restricted-access, loading bays, EV charging spaces, and more).
Why it matters to you
Numbers like this are how residents and councils argue about parking policy. If your parish shows few EV-charging spaces (Alvalade: 34 in the sample) or few loading bays (Alvalade: 153), you have a concrete figure for asking for more — or for deciding where to look for a resident permit. It’s the aggregate view that the boundary datasets (zones, areas) break down into individual rules.
How to read this data
freguesia — the parish (e.g. “Alvalade”). \ntipologia — the type of space (e.g. “Carga Veículos Eléctricos” = EV charging, “Cargas e Descargas” = loading/unloading). \nlugaresQTD — the number of spaces of that type in that parish (e.g. 34 EV spaces in Alvalade).

Open the parking statistics in EMEL’s data portal and compare your parish’s lugaresQTD across tipologia types. A parish with many loading bays but few EV spaces tells you where the policy attention is — and isn’t.
